The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for all repairs related to building systems. Responsibilities Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues. Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks. Conduct minor repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems. Install and set up new equipment and machinery. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments. Coordinate and communicate with other departmental staff regarding facility operations and maintenance issues. Provide transportation services to drivers and employees in the surrounding community. Responsibilities Transport drivers from area motels and business to and from the corporate facility. Transport drivers to and from bus station as schedule warrants. Transport drivers to and from corporate facility to area providers of medical services for drug/alcohol screens and physical examinations. May be required to work additional days or hours for special events or as business needs required. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services. Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Must be a people-person.
