The Shop Lead is responsible for performing repairs on class 8 equipment while supporting Shop Foreman is essential shop administration. Responsibilities While working as a mechanic: Perform repairs to equipment as assigned. Inspect equipment during the repair process to identify any needed additional repairs. While working as a foreman: Monitor equipment repairs as they’re being made to ensure best practices are being followed and repairs are progressing in a timely manner.
