The Per Diem Respiratory Therapist provides top-level patient support. This includes but is not limited to coaching, education, and clinical assessment in the patient's home or medical environment. Per diem Respiratory Therapist will assist patients with their prescribed PAP therapy by setting up equipment, assisting with mask selection and fit, and providing clear instructions on equipment use, maintenance and troubleshooting when appropriate.  The Per Diem RT works directly with patients to ensure they understand their equipment and feel confident beginning their sleep therapy journey.
