Job Description: The occupational therapist is part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing evidence-based interventions to acute rehabilitation patients. The occupational therapist collaborates with the rehabilitation team to develop a comprehensive plan of care to prepare the patients for a successful discharge. They work with a variety of patient neurological diagnoses as well as patients post multi-trauma and amputation. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities that affect health, well-being, and quality of life. Educates and prepares patients/families and caregivers for continued care after discharge. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Diagnostic Imaging Tech I demonstrates knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont. EXPERIENCE: ARRT certified and hold a current license with the State of Vermont.
