Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly The Prospect Park YMCA is seeking a Water Fitness Instructor who will provide outstanding customer service, demonstrate the YMCA Values, and understand the YMCA Mission. They will conduct safe, fun, dynamic, and effective water fitness classes in accordance with the YMCA of Greater NY Health & Wellness or Aquatic Safety Standards & Guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Be prepared to teach in the water and on the deck. Know and practice all exercise movements in the water prior to teaching classes. Understand the physics of water resistance and its effects on participant movement. Demonstrate the ability to relate to and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
