SUMMARY Open Arms Care requires consistent care for clients. At times, interim staff (a.k.a. PRN or per diem) are needed to provide consistent and quality care for clients during periods of low staffing. PRN staff schedules can be similar to full or part time staff depending on staffing needs and in many cases require holiday and/or weekend shifts. OAC maintains the right, as with all PRN staff, to offer hours as needed. Hours and site assignments may not always be consistent. Requests for PRN staff for days to work will be considered, but there are no guarantees related to scheduling There are no employment benefits, such as paid time off, health insurance, 403(b), or other benefits afforded to full or part time employees. At any time during employment, should the employee desire to become a full or part time employee and a position is available, OAC will consider the employee’s request.
