Description: Position Summary Experienced full-service Chef/Cook. Candidate must be able to lead a small team, drive revenue, maximize productivity and motivate a team. Most chefs/cooks attend a two-year culinary program and then work their way up the ranks of a kitchen: line cook, sous chef, and finally executive chef. Experience is very important and generally this will supersede formal education. Must also be able to effectively manage kitchen staff and maintain a clean kitchen. Duties and Responsibilities: Pre-preparation Review menus prior to preparation of food. Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services, in the absence of the Chef and/or Dining Services Director. Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary.
