Will work collaboratively with the sales leadership team and with other internal functional organizations to coordinate all sales activities and programs necessary to drive a synergistic, high-performing, team-oriented, ethical sales culture. Develops and drives the sales forecast process globally, maintains strong relationships with field management to ensure timely and accurate sales forecasts and reporting. Will use knowledge of company products, services, support and technology to drive the sales operations activities that achieve company goals. Market analysis where appropriate to support the sales planning cycle. Interacts closely with the Executive Team and/or Board of Directors specific to the reporting of all sales data and information. Design and administer the company's sales incentive plans. Establishes quotas that support the financial plans of the business. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works with global executives and cross functional leadership to establish global sales goals to support and meet the company's revenue and strategic growth goals. Prepare Quarterly BOD materials for the Sales Organization In conjunction with sales leadership, develops, aligns and implements regional and/or territory assignments and sales plans and deploys sales quotas. Ensures that a robust management operating system exists, including key business metrics and trends that support the business unit decision-making process. Manages the Sales forecast process. Works with Sales and Finance to develop and administer the company's sales forecast. Maintains an effective sales communications team, addressing internal and external communications, product roll-outs, training and readiness, and conferences and events. Manages the definition and distribution of all SPIFF's (special incentive programs) working closely with HR and Finance. Works collaboratively with HR to ensure that sales leaders routinely evaluate, develop, and advance top talent; effectively and efficiently handle performance issues. Assists in the launch of new products and initiatives with the Sales team by liaising closely with other functional organizations such as product and technology, marketing, customer service, human resources (HR), training and finance. Primary administrator of all sales support systems, and drives adoption of a CRM system and reporting systems. Ensures sales budgets are designed, developed and followed. Drives Sales Process/Methodology improvements. Develops best practices and to utilize appropriate technologies to improve organizational performance. Facilitates the design and implementation of the company's sales incentive plans. Manages the orientation process of new Sales Representatives to maximize the ramp-up of new individuals to the sales organization. Recommends and implements sales force automation and tools.Knowledgeable and skilled in the latest sales productivity improvement technology. Ensures the maximization of sales force competency and performance via Training and Development. Ensures the creation, development and execution of all field sales and sales management training programs. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required.MBA or graduate degree a plus, 8+ years' experience in driving sales performance, with 5+ years ‘experience in a management/leadership role. Global Sales Operations experience highly desired. Ability to communicate effectively and drive the commercial vision, mission and strategy of the company. Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders to understand needs and deliver solutions that meet expectations. Effective time management skills and ability to overcome obstacles to meet deadlines. Ability to manage projects with multiple tracks as a high-energy leader. Ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies. Demonstrated attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused.
