Responsibilities I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs a variety of radiologic procedures. • Provides patient care during procedures. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Essential: standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting usual weight of 50 pounds; pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds of force; carrying usual weight of 20 pounds. • Continuous: stooping/bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds. • Frequent: twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time. • Occasional: sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting. • Operates x-ray equipment, computer and printer, fax machine, surgical supplies and equipment, film cassettes, film processors.
