Description:The Role: The Cheeseman lab is seeking a full-time Staff Scientist or Postdoctoral Scientist to work on a well-funded project combining malaria parasite genetic crosses with single cell RNAseq and anti-malarial drug treatment. We are looking for a candidate with strong bioinformatic skills and training in genetics/evolution, as the position will be heavily computational. Prior experience in malaria or infectious disease research is not required, and training for any of the laboratory approaches which will be the main focus of this work will be provided.
