The Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is a 12-month position that provides strategic leadership and programmatic vision around issues of diversity, equity, inclusion in the community. The Director works in partnership with the senior leadership team to shape and sustain an inclusive community that is respectful and affirming of all its members. This position starts July 3, 2023.
Essential Functions:
Play a vital role in creating and implementing strategy and long-term plans for DEI that mirror, support, and extend the strategic vision of the school
Serve as a resource for the administration, faculty, staff, and students regarding DEI topics
Create and facilitate workshops and professional development sessions related to DEI topics
Support faculty in managing complex conversations with students and families
