PAY: According to Union Scale – RRT $34.14 - $51.97 – CRT $29.96 - $45.60, EOE, DOE SHIFT: Per Diem Day/Nights, weekends, holiday    The Respiratory Therapist will work in a variety of settings to evaluate, treat, and manage patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders. The Respiratory Therapist participates in clinical decision-making and patient education, develops and implements respiratory care plans, applies patient-driven protocols, utilized evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, and participates in health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management. The Respiratory Therapist may be required to exercise considerable independent judgment, under the supervision of a physician, in the respiratory care of patients.

The Respiratory Therapist participates in clinical decision-making and patient education, develops and implements respiratory care plans, applies patient-driven protocols, utilized evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, and participates in health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management. Direct patient care/Therapeutic Modalities: This position provides direct patient care and serves as the primary direct care provider for his/her shift.  Ventilator management, airway management, oxygen administration, aerosolized medication administration, breathing exercise management, resident/family education: evaluate, recommend, and administer therapeutic regimen, following direct orders from MD/NP. Active in care planning and discharge planning process by attending care plan meetings, discharge planning meetings, setting and maintaining active care plans in medical record of respiratory goals of therapy and plan of care ordered.
