Description: What You'll Be Doing A Mortgage Lender at Bank Iowa originates mortgage loans and promotes the bank and our services to the community. This role may also originate some agricultural and commercial loans. This role helps to identify and serve the community's financial needs through loan counseling, seminars and sales meetings, and by participating in and promoting the bank's community activities. Generate mortgage loan business by developing relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other referral sources. Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, and advise on product options.
