Summary: Analyzes data obtained through plant processes using SPC tools. Reviews current departmental processes and procedures. Identifies gaps and makes recommendations for process improvement.
Review process inputs and outputs and make recommendations to reduce process variability and increase consistency.
Review and improve process control plans for each process in the manufacturing department and make necessary recommendations.
Verify that existing equipment is being used to its fullest advantage by examining operating data to identify equipment bottlenecks.
Conduct tests on systems for efficiency and accuracy until a quality and cost-effective production process is implemented successfully.
Asist and guide teams during CI event weeks by providing data, constructing charts, graphs and PowerPoint presentations. Suggest and help utilize different problem solving/CI tools that may seem reasonable to conduct for the event.
Conduct internal quality audits by department, based on a predetermined schedule, to assure plant is performing to the ISO standard.
Willingness to learn SPC and Data Visualization computer software, attend offsite trainings and/or conferences.
