Senior Financial Analyst

Total Wine & More is growing at an explosive rate and we need Corporate Office team members to support our existing and newly opened stores! We are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to our growing Finance team who will compile and analyze data for all operating departments in Total Wine & More. You will grow in a stimulating environment while forecasting and analyzing financial models for new store openings. You will join in the development of financial reports using our Financial Systems Software, and create new reports. Total Wine & More's growth remains consistent, causing our company to be an invigorating place for a team member to forge your path. You will report to the Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis.

You will
  • Help develop financial models and databases
  • Use software packages (MS Access, Excel (can perform complex functions), etc.) to assemble data and create reports
  • Produce financial reports using our financial systems software, and help develop new reports
  • Research and perform analysis of financial and operational data
  • Perform financial analysis of departments and their projects
  • Help develop the annual budgeting process
  • Help with the interpretation of financial transactions and events to support information users and decision makers
  • Develop forecasts and trending analysis
  • Other ad-hoc reports and analysis

You will come with
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or quantitative discipline; Masters a plus
  • Five years of experience as financial analyst or consultant
  • Experience with Lawson Financials a plus
  • MS Excel (can perform complex functions) and Access experience
  • Solid working knowledge of financial statement analysis
  • Experience in a retail environment, preferably multi-unit / multi-state retail, a plus
