Sr. Quality Engineering Supervisor

Job Description

As a Sr Quality Eng Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee quality engineering activities to ensure aerospace products and processes meet Honeywell’s stringent standards for safety, reliability, and compliance. You will manage quality teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

You will report directly to our Site Director of Quality Engineering and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance framework and operational excellence of aerospace components and systems, contributing significantly to Honeywell’s reputation for safety, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and supervise quality engineering team members to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and internal procedures
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve complex quality issues in production and supplier processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects that enhance product quality and process efficiency


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Several years of experience in quality engineering or quality management roles within aerospace or manufacturing industries
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and aerospace quality standards such as AS9100
  • Proficiency with quality tools including FMEA, SPC, APQP, and experience managing quality documentation and reporting
  • Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated aerospace environment


WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Proven leadership experience in aerospace quality or manufacturing environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to mentor and develop team members, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and managing supplier quality initiatives
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
