As a Civil 3D CAD Technician, you will support office and engineering teams by assisting with civil engineering design and producing project deliverables for commercial and industrial land development projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue building their Civil 3D and land development experience while working alongside experienced engineers and designers. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will perform technical drafting and design support tasks using industry-leading CAD software and engineering tools within the A/E/C environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on civil engineering and land development projects
• Assist with the preparation of site development plans, specifications, and project deliverables under the direction of the Project Manager
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to create and modify design drawings
• Perform technical calculations and support engineering analyses for project work
• Review drawings and project data for accuracy and completeness while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
• Assist with quality control (QC) reviews of drawings and supporting documents
• Coordinate with your supervisor and project team to ensure project requirements and client expectations are met
• Support compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
