Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Product Manager to own the entire user experience of our flagship web and mobile apps. This isn't just about features; it's about shaping how members interact with their fitness and wellbeing goals as they navigate each day. You will be the driving force behind ensuring every member, from day one, enjoys a guided, engaging, and personalized experience every time they use SilverSneakers.

 

This role is critical to SilverSneakers’ continued success. You will be at the epicenter of our mission to empower member engagement. Your work will directly influence how members navigate our apps, engage with our network, and extend or create their best days.

In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Design, Research, Data and Engineering to define and execute the web and mobile app experience roadmap. The ideal candidate will shape the overall product vision and strategy as well as drive execution across our web, mobile and marketing technology teams. You will be responsible for all elements of SilverSneakers’ web and mobile app experience, ensuring we deliver an intuitive, engaging, and personalized experience that help members seamlessly navigate and access the tools they need.

 

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead – Own the entire user experience vision and strategy for the SilverSneakers web, mobile app and marketing technology, ensuring it aligns with Tivity’s mission and user needs.
  • Prioritize and Execute – Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and data teams to prioritize and ship impactful features.
  • Understand Member and Buyer Needs – Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand member and client behaviors, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Measure and Iterate – Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to app engagement, feature usage, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for optimization and inform product decisions.
  • Communicate Impact and Challenges – Regularly share progress, key insights, and blockers with stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment, transparency, and support for the app experience roadmap.
  • Facilitate Strategy – Work with SilverSneakers leadership to define overall SilverSneakers strategic planning across applications and in-person experiences.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with best practices in UX, personalization, and fitness tech to ensure SilverSneakers’ web and mobile app experience remains best-in-class.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a focus on consumer-oriented products
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and customer journey mapping
  • Highly technical, with deep experience and track record of success in building and growing products
  • Highly collaborative and capable of managing large, complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence with solid presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to align stakeholders on the goals and behaviors required for success
  • Experience working in regulated industries that requires coordination across functional areas including legal and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or engineering a plus

The salary range for this opportunity is $117,500 to $164,500. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
