Description
We are hiring a Credit Underwriting Assistant with experience in the Commercial Lending space and proven time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
In this role you will:
- Generate pipeline reports
- Prepare for OLC/DLC meetings and take meeting minutes
- Act as a lending assistant for Special assets -
- Admin support including credit file set up & maintenance, past dues and exception tracking
- Administer loan closings
- Communicate with customers as needed
- Manage all special asset loans in Baker Hill
- Provide Construction administrative support -
- Processing payments to accounts payable
- Updating/maintaining daily construction draw log and interest reserve report
- BUILT invoice review
- Construction loan fee reconciliation with Loan Ops
- Monthly Construction Reports
- Uploading compliance files to FDM
- Managing deal flow through Baker Hill
- Pull Credit and Lexis Nexis Reports
- Support additional projects as needed
- Provide additional lending admin support when needed
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in a commercial lending environment
- A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to multitask and be flexible with daily tasks to accommodate the department’s workload
- Able to work extended hours as needed
Preferred
- 5 years of experience in a commercial lending environment
- Technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
