Channel Partnership Director

Job Description

As our Channel Partnership Director, you will identify and build strategic partnerships within the HR and benefits ecosystem, along with other potential partners, to help fuel the growth of our health and wellness solution. Potential channels can include other health and well-being platforms, PEOs, HCM solutions, benefit captives and aggregators, and care delivery and navigation teams; as well as other channels and aggregator opportunities that align.

You will own all day-to-day channel program development and operation and drive new partner programs to help scale revenue. We’re looking for someone who’s done it before --- having experience in building a partnership ecosystem with demonstrated revenue impacts, ideally in health/wellness or HR-adjacent spaces. As the only channel partner, you will need to balance the strategic and tactical. That means you are scrappy and inventive, excited by the chance to craft our entire strategy in this vertical but equally adept at rolling up your sleeves and doing the hard-work to build a pipeline and build out the assets and strategy to activate successful channels.

This is a remote job with the expectation that you may travel up to 30% of the time as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, build, and maintain channel partner relationships through marketing, business development, and sales including the development of the channel sales strategy and defining of our channel partner profiles.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and their sales teams to develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation to pass to the rest of the sales team.
  • Provide support, resources, and information to our internal sales teams to facilitate joint efforts with our channel partners.
  • Work with our marketing team to drive campaigns in partnership with our channel partners to drive lead generation and sales.
  • Work across Sales, Marketing, CS, and Product to support overall growth and success of the channel and partnership program.
  • Partner with our channels to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones while helping the channel sales teams with training, presentation, and negotiation to help them close deals to their client base.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in partnership roles, ideally in the wellness, healthcare, or related industry, preferred. Digital health experience required.
  • Have been on the ground-floor in building up channel and aggregator distribution process.
  • Proven track-record of building top of funnel pipeline and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Extensive understanding of the HR ecosystem, corporate wellness and healthcare benefits experience is a major plus.
  • Proficient in using modern sales tools (CRM, outreach tools, Sales Navigator etc.)

The base salary for this opportunity is $135,000-150,000 and this role does earn commission. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
