Sr Sales Executive, Health Plan Payer Solutions - remote opportunity

Job Description

Tivity Health is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to expand and support our growing Commercial Health Plan Payer business. This senior-level role focuses on selling Tivity’s integrated wellness solutions, including our digital wellness platform and nationwide gym network, to large health plans. The ideal candidate is a strategic, consultative sales professional with deep expertise in health plan markets and a proven ability to manage complex, enterprise-level sales cycles. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive direct sales efforts, building and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities within the health plan payer space.
  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate high-value relationships with decision-makers, including C-suite executives, group market leaders, wellness leads, population health teams, etc.
  • Effectively communicate Tivity Health’s unique value proposition, emphasizing ROI and VOI and engagement benefits tailored to each client.
  • Articulate how Tivity’s integrated solutions address challenges related to employee/member engagement, cost containment, and population health improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present compelling proposals that align with both client and business objectives.
  • Stay current on trends impacting health plan markets, including regulatory changes and commercial health plan dynamics.
  • Partner with internal teams to refine go-to-market strategies and support implementation for new clients.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery to contract negotiation and implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, ensuring visibility into pipeline, revenue potential, and key metrics.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of enterprise-level sales experience in the health plan market, with demonstrated success selling to large health plans.
  • Expertise in consultative, solution-based selling with a focus on value-based benefits, member engagement, and ROI/VOI-driven solutions. 
  • Familiarity with commercial health plans, buying cycles and economics.
  • A strong track record of exceeding sales goals, closing large, complex deals, and building executive-level relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate long sales cycles and influence cross-functional decision-making teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex value propositions to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and a disciplined approach to CRM and pipeline management.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more as required to meet with clients and prospects.

The base salary for this opportunity is $135,000-150,000 and this role does earn commission. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
