Job Description

The Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund (“the Equity Fund”) is a groundbreaking funding initiative designed to drive resources to advance climate and clean energy equity and justice. Grassroots groups advocating for and organizing people hard hit by climate change — communities of color, indigenous, working class and rural communities — often lack resources, staffing, and access to develop relationships with foundation funders and major donors. Yet they are accomplishing critical work to build the collective power of communities most hurt by climate change and the use of dirty fossil fuels resulting in health problems, job losses, and displacement. The Equity Fund is a conduit for foundations and donors to partner and support these frontline organizations across the country.

The Equity Fund is seeking a highly strategic and skilled Strategic Partnerships Manager with a demonstrated commitment to racial, economic and climate justice to support all aspects of fund development for the Equity Fund. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will develop strategic written collateral and help to implement ongoing learning and engagement opportunities for the Equity Fund’s funding partners and philanthropic peers.

The Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund has exclusively retained The 360 Group of San Francisco to assist with this search. • Deep knowledge of philanthropy and best practices for developing strategic and values-aligned philanthropic partnerships and donor relationships

  • Exceptional written communication skills

  • Deep track record developing high-quality written materials, including grant

proposals, progress reports, memos, and other strategic collateral; demonstrated ability to gather impact data, stories, and strategic information to write case materials that will effectively convey the Equity Fund’s mission and commitment to racial and economic justice and climate and clean energy equity
