As a Practitioner Network Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for the education, communications, and retention of the WholeHealth Living network of practitioners, including practitioner onboarding, practitioner training, communications content and deployment, retention strategies, and contribute to the strategy and growth surrounding practitioner network development.

  • Practitioner Education and Network Management
    • Onboard all new WHL network Practitioners, including phone and/or video call orientations, introductions to the practitioner portal, submitting authorizations, claims processing, and answering any questions to ensure practitioners are equipped in understanding network processes and benefits
    • Develop content and resources to support ongoing practitioner training and communications across WHL practitioner network
    • Demonstrate proficient understanding of all health plan network requirements and credentialing criteria for each specialty
    • Collaborate with WHL Network Team in the development and distribution of orientation and educational materials to contracted practitioners, as well as staff when necessary
    • Execute ongoing practitioner education sessions to ensure practitioners are aligned, understand, and encouraged to use WHL practitioner portal, WholeHealth Pro
    • Assist Networks and Operations Team with distribution of practitioner letters and communication
    • Educate all Practitioners on current, new, or revised policies and procedures for all lines of business
    • Assist in the ongoing build of practitioner awareness and engagement of WHL
  • Practitioner Account Management
    • Ongoing, professional, and effective communication with all WHL network Practitioners
    • Responsible to develop a professional and personable relationship with practitioners and their staff which engenders trust and respect, resulting in high retention of quality practitioners
  • Cross-functional WHL support
    • Own the practitioner practice experience by working cross-functionally across Network Development, including Recruitment, Program Management, Credentialing, Practitioner Data, Marketing, and other teams as needed to coordinate cross-functional activities
    • Communicate key Practitioner pain points and work with key stakeholders to advance support of WHL contracted Practitioners
  • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Assist with escalated practitioner account issues or communication, as needed

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work or educational experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • One or more years’ experience in an administrative capacity within an office environment in healthcare, health plan, or insurance industry is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to serve in a customer-facing role and collaborative and relationship-driven style in building effective network satisfaction
  • Leadership and training skills
  • Some understanding of content development
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment balancing diverse priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, plan, and schedule workload to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to new responsibilities and changes when necessary
