Responsible for the admission and residency processes as it relates to decisions, completing detailed academic evaluations, including GPA calculations and course, evaluations. Conducts residency evaluations for Admissions operations Office to ensure accuracy on residency determination and decisions of residency classification for all admitted students. Oversees a caseload of applicants, tracks and supports progress throughout admissions pipeline (from application to enrollment), communicates with students about pending documents and admissions requirements. Oversees a special population with Admissions Operations; supports and advises process improvements regarding said population.

  • Provides support in the initial residency evaluation process for all incoming students. Receives and analyzes Florida residency documentation for review of official documentation related to residency for tuition purposes policy. Communicates with students and approves initial residency for Tuition Purposes according to Florida State Regulations.
  • Makes admissions decisions based on the review and evaluation of transcripts (high school, college), test scores (ACT, SAT) and other enrollment related documentation. Updates student record, using Student Info System (PeopleSoft), accordingly.
  • Verifies student/claimant information through various resources such as the DMV database or our Student information system. Maintains confidentiality regarding data/information accessed for purposes of the residency evaluation.
  • Provides customer service to students and staff via phone, CRM, email and in person. Participates in Enrollment Management events Assists with OneStop students visits during peak periods.
  • Oversees a daily query of pending caseload. Maintains and updates student records in University's PeopleSoft system as well as through our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Assists with record maintenance, confirms validity of documents, and researches student information for admissions and residency purposes. Engages in detail review of student files to ensure consistency and accuracy of admissions decisions.
  • Performs other related duties are required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
