About the HR Generalist Position
The Human Resource Generalist (HR Generalist) aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at the organization. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role administers employee benefits and 401K plans and acts as the liaison between employees and insurance brokers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures the effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Generalist ensures that the organization is in compliance with all employment, benefits, and HR regulations in accordance with federal, state, and city regulations. This role supports all human resource functions within the organization, including but not limited to record-keeping, file maintenance, employee reviews, onboarding, orientations, offboarding, employee related issues and training. This role is an essential piece of our continued success and strong internal culture.
This position is full-time, exempt, and is a standard work week of 37.5 hours.

Compensation: $70,100 annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications. IPHI offers competitive benefits, including health, dental, and disability insurance; sick, vacation, and PTO time; a paid parental leave benefit; and a retirement plan with employer-matching contributions. IPHI also offers a modest Wellness and Professional Development stipend.
Location: The position is located in our Chicago West Loop office. IPHI operates a hybrid office work model where team members work in the office two days per week (Tuesday – Thursday), and individuals may work in the office or remotely the other three days per week.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required, mainly in Chicago.
Starting Date: Immediate.
