Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by additional training and experience in the law enforcement field.
Candidates with sworn law enforcement experience and/or NC Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) completion, or who are currently enrolled in BLET, are preferred.
Requires possession of a valid driver's license. Drug testing and background check (which may include criminal check, education verification and credit history review) are required prior to employment.
