General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Corporate IT Project Manager (PM) is responsible for directing and overseeing the operations and administration of assigned projects and programs. The PM provides visible leadership, accountability, and authority for the project. The Corporate IT Project Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and managing projects as well as monitoring the performance and progress against documented objectives. The PM works independently and exhibits a high degree of initiative in resolving problems encountered during the project lifecycle.

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

  • Manage several concurrent small to large-sized IT projects from beginning to end. Identify, manage, track project dependencies/risks/issues, and critical path. Actively monitor all project milestones and deliverables.
  • Work with Business sponsors to define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle
  • Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to project owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion

Key Personal Attributes Include:

  • University degree in the field of computer science or business administration. A Master’s degree in one of these fields preferred
  • 2-3 years of direct work experience in an IT project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution using a waterfall and agile methodology
  • 6-8 years of direct experience in software development (ERP customization, 3rd party integration, Business Intelligence, etc...)
  • Solid leadership skills with experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment as well as advanced interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
  • Sitting for extended periods of time with the dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
  • Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
  • Can work remotely

Qualifications
