Position:                 Paralegal

Office:                    Providence, RI

Experience:            3+ Years of Experience

 Seeking a Trusts & Estates paralegal for our Providence office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts and powers of attorney.  Experience with HotDocs or other document compilation software is desirable. Experience with estate and trust administration is a plus. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney;
  • Maintaining form libraries for the Trusts & Estates practice group;
  • Assisting with the administration of trusts, including Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts; and
  • Preparing summary charts outlining client estate plans.

There will be substantial interaction with the department’s attorneys. The position offers an excellent opportunity to assume significant responsibility and hands-on experience in a collaborative, sophisticated and team-oriented work environment.  Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication, computer (including HotDocs or similar), problem solving, multitasking, and organizational skills. Must also be highly motivated and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
