The Warehouse Material Handler prepares orders for shipments from storage, accounts for warehouse materials and supports production with request for materials.


Responsible for warehouse materials storage, allocation and following proper procedures and documentation.

Delivers, prepare or transfer materials to departments using power jacks, pallet jacks, sit down forklifts & stand up forklifts.

Load and unload products and ingredient into trucks.

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to stage or prepare orders that need to be shipped.

Stack products in locations such as cooler or freezer, using pallets or cargo boards.

Follow the freezer to cooler rotation and FIFO programs.

Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.

Enter into the ERP system or manually record shipment data, such as weight, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes.

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to prepare shipments.

Participate in the monthly inventories and maintain warehouse organized.

Ability to employ correct lifting techniques as necessary to avoid injury.

Work in a cold environment

Wear PPE while performing different functions.

Remain in a standing and siting position for long periods of time.

Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to your director Supervisor.


Pay rate ranges from $15 - $16 per hour depending on experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in Warehouse environments operating stand-up / sit-down forklifts.
  • Must be detail orientated with documentation/record keeping skills.
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet applications and Navision ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse layout, work flow, and inventory control.
  • Highly motivated person that is able to handle a high volume of work with accuracy.
  • Ability to be an independent thinker and find solutions to problems.
  • Team oriented with good people and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts and power jacks.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work in cold environments such as freezers.
  • Must be able to work a Day shift, overtime and occasional weekends.
