The Business Account Executive (BAE) is a strategic partner between local businesses and local Connect stores. The primary responsibility of the BAE is to drive external AT&T sales by prospecting business in their local community. The BAE also provides support to local stores by training and educating sales staff in their given market in addition to collaborating with AT&T local and regional support to drive sales.

Core Duties and Responsibilities of a Business Account Executive

  • Cold-calling blitzes to contact local businesses and set external appointments
  • Build business relationships in the community through B2B efforts
  • Research leads to having a full understanding before appointments
  • Build professional proposals through AT&T systems and resources
  • Deliver final proposals to gain agreement with clients
  • Service accounts to maintain ongoing communication for further revenue opportunities
  • Partner with local AT&T Business Team to ensure alignment
  • Create and implement weekly Win Local and Chamber events
  • Monthly and Quarterly performance reporting to BAM and DOB
  • Handle all escalations and discrepancies effectively and immediately
