We are currently hiring a full-time office specialist position for greater coverage in purchasing, shipping, and logistics.

Founded in 2008, Free Run is a locally owned and established boutique wine and spirits importer with a focus on sustainably sourced beverages. We distribute throughout Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland and as our business grows we are seeking an exceptional professional to join our Richmond team. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Submitting, tracking, and receiving purchase orders
  • Scheduling shipments and daily tracking
  • Updating all purchase order status, delays, and ETAs
  • Additional general office, operations, and upper management support

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Purchasing, shipping, and/or logistics experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to excel in a team environment with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and perform quality work with accuracy and a high attention to detail. 
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent computer related skills with proficiency in Google Drive, MS Office (particularly Excel), and QuickBooks preferred
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and adapt to change
  • Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
  • Accounting experience preferred but not required 
  • Foreign language ability {Italian/Spanish/French} is a plus
