We believe corporations have a responsibility to use their profits for good and that employees should both drive and actively participate in that giving. That’s why we launched an employee-driven corporate giving model, where Koya employees are trained in venture philanthropy and oversee our annual giving program—from sourcing possible investment opportunities, to conducting due diligence, to reviewing the outcomes. We’re proud to invest 5% of our profits in the social impact sector each year. And we’re proud that our team members also give generously of their time to local service activities, nonprofit boards, and pro bono search and consulting.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are deeply held values at Koya. For every engagement we strive to identify candidates who bring a range of backgrounds and experiences to the table. We also track diversity metrics as a measure of team and organizational performance across individual searches and over time.
