TITLE: Client Services Associate


JOB SUMMARY: Breckinridge Capital Advisors is seeking a Client Services Associate to become a member of the Client Services Team. The Associate will provide support and assistance to all client lifecycle events, such as new account onboarding and terminations. In addition, he/she will interact directly with clients, advisors and internal teams to ensure requests and other servicing matters are completed in a timely manner. A general understanding of the financial services industry and the fixed income markets is beneficial. The position will report to the Chief Operating Officer. 


  • Process client account inceptions, changes and terminations with accuracy
  • Ensure all requests from clients and others are answered in a timely manner
  • Maintain client relationship data via an internal system
  • Prepare client reports on a monthly, quarterly and ad- hoc basis
  • Provide phone coverage for the business line and dispatch to the appropriate team
  • Propose and implement improvements to processes and procedures
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned


  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with other team members
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, while working on projects simultaneously and producing quality work
  • Responsive, timely, and diligent with respect to all requests
  • Excellent problem solving/ critical thinking skills; suggesting efficiency improvements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in a team-based environment and act as a resource for colleagues


  • Possess a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in client service and / or operational role preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in finance, economics, or business administration)



  • Frequent travel will not be required with this role
  • Employee may occasionally be required to attend conferences
