Job Summary: Under minimal supervision builds and machines parts from a blue print using a variety of manual and CNC machines. A journeyman machinist. Essential Functions: Set up and take down of projects Machine parts under minimal supervision Good knowledge of shop tools and machines Safely operate overhead crane Able to read blue prints Maintain a clean work area Maintain safe environment Essential Mental Functions: Must be able to understand implicit and explicit instructions and react favorable in all work situations. Must be able resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.
