Standard Hours:                Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

  

Job Summary:

To function as the business leader of all online and offline learning and development initiatives for LeadingRE member firms and their various audiences of principals, agents, managers and department leaders, as well as supporting content for internal staff development.   Position is charged with fostering an environment in of high performance at all levels of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, Luxury Portfolio International®, and RELO Direct®, Inc. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Learning strategy and integration:

  • Develop and maintain a master matrix of all learning initiatives for different audiences to ensure relevance, consistency and results.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of all programs and identify gaps.
  • Create and advocate for potential initiatives to continually raise the performance bar and enhance the company’s competitive position in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Institute online learning platform:
  • Oversee Institute, including design, development, content, financial management and technology for the program.  
  • Ensure the effective operation and ongoing development of the learning management system and related applications and services, supported by technology staff.
  • Establish and maintain an evaluation to track usage and effectiveness of Institute content and satisfaction of all users, particularly Enterprise-level.  
  • Identify and create relationships with Institute faculty and subject matter experts who contribute content.
  • Develop and manage the Institute budget and monitor P&L to ensure budget is met or exceeded.

Other network education initiatives:

  • Develop and/or work with other managers to create content and coordinate delivery of sessions for conferences and events, including annual conference, Summits, MarTech, fall workshops, global symposium, RELO Gold, and other special workshops.
  • Produce Career Gold agenda and content for annual career development professional workshop, in collaboration with faculty and staff.
  • Support the Maestro Leadership Program, including updating curriculum developed by faculty and guest lecturers, coordinating registrations, materials and assessments and collaborating with Marketing and Events teams on meeting logistics.
  • Manage the Harrison Assessment program and become certified to deliver assessment analysis when needed.

Global learning:

  • Modify and augment core learning programs and content to meet the needs of non-U.S. LeadingRE members and deploy internationally.
  • Continually explore new adult learning methodologies and niche areas and execute using different media, channels and strategies
  • Staff talent management:
    • Support the creation and delivery of content for staff development overseen and coordinated by the Director of Human Resources.
      • Assist the Director of HR in identifying content gaps to achieve the goal of raising the competency and engagement level of all employees.
      • Work with the DHR to provide all employees with access to pertinent business information and knowledge through formal and informal learning opportunities.

Champion an environment of continuing education that supports company business goals and strategies and a culture of high performance.

Executive Director, Institute Content Services

Learning and Development Coordinator

 

Key Relationships: 

Chief Learning Officer, Institute “Deans” and other MAESTRO faculty

Director of Digital Technology, Technology Customer Service Coordinator and Institute Senior Technical Specialist as they relate to the Institute Learning Management System (LMS).

 

Member brokers and directors of training/career development

All internal staff, other senior executives, HR Director, IT team, Marketing, Events, Global teams

Board of Directors

Vendors and subject matter expert and faculty involved with LMS, content, speaking and other learning-related services and products

 

Working Conditions:

Must be based in downtown Chicago headquarters; not a work-from-home position

Drug free office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like

Limited travel required

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in education and/or business administration

Minimum 5 years’ experience in both adult learning and business, preferably in real estate

Proven track record in the practical application of learning techniques to drive performance and business results

Experience in managing people but also collaborating and influencing other team members this position does not directly supervise
