Responsibilities

The Senior Director, Talent Management will work closely with the entire HR team to design and deploy and overall only Otsuka Talent Strategy and set a new expectation for the enterprise to deliver end to end talent solutions

Areas of focus include and are not limited to:

  • Will work closely with the CHRO and Senior Business Partner/OE lead to build a solutions HR model and metrics for success
  • Rationalize and streamline strategic Talent spend and partnerships
  • Build and market and end to end talent lifecycle slate of offerings focused on executive, leadership, and management levels.
  • Co- create sales development offerings and rotational programs and tools
  • Develop a targeting executive development onboarding experience
  • Co-lead building the HR model of future with hear of people and HRBPs and HRIS etc.
  • Enable a shared services TM model that includes WD design and implementation with HRIS, LD, PM, TM, Succession
  • Build end to end only Otsuka talent strategy encompassing learning, leadership development, cultural immersion, onboarding, recruitment – hire to develop to retain and engage lifecycle
  • Build a true L&D arm with 3rd party support that is targeted and relevant
  • Build enterprise capabilities in OE, change
  • Dynamic Otsuka career maps and journeys for employees
  • Use of technology, data and metrics to drive predicative modeling and strategies for people, talent, org and recruitment; AI assessments and gamification incorporated to talent approaches; Data and insights for predictive talent modeling and workforce planning
  • Drive next gen succession planning
  • Board presentation and macro people analysis
  • Cultural and engagement surveys of future – real time
  • Consolidate and manage strategic third party relationships to ‘right size’ a competitive and strategic Otsuka Talent Office
  • Develop OD and change capabilities for enterprise, starting with HR team members
  • Enable a Talent Partner solutions model including consultation and annual program offerings with close collaboration across HR and the business

Travel 15-30%



Qualifications

Strategic thinker with 10+ years of experience in execution of complex, multi-functional projects and programs

  • 10 + years of Human resources/OD experience
  • Experience with leading teams and a talent development strategy
  • Ability to solve for complex scenarios, problem solve and thrive within ambiguity
  • Demonstrated passion for talent and org development
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and organization development skills
  • Strong project management skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to execute programs and processes
  • Effective influencing skills
  • Strong ability to work actively with partners at all levels throughout the organization
  • Excellence in in oral, written communications and presentation skills
  • Innovation and ambassador to new and different ideas and the perseverance to see them through
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and database management

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field
  • Master's/PhD. in HR, OD, Organizational Psychology or related discipline preferred
