McGraw-Hill Education has an immediate opening for an Assistant Academic Designer Health (Project Status) in our Academic Design (Editorial) Department. Academic Designers are content and curriculum experts, responsible and accountable for assembling high-quality content based on specific product requirements.#LI-MJK

Your contribution to the team includes:

-Plan and develop content (including learning trajectories, scope and sequence, tables of contents, lessons, and teacher resources) for digital and print products

-Correlate educational materials to national and state Health standards

-Communicate project requirements to authors, consultants, and freelance editors

-Prepare manuscript, ensuring accuracy, readability, and grade-appropriateness in accordance with project specifications

-Work in a Content Management System to assemble and produce educational content

-Work on digital products with tasks such as metadata tagging, concept mapping, and digital editing

-Complete photo and art requisition forms

-Monitor and evaluate pedagogical and content area research and trends

-Maintain and meet project schedules

-Perform other editorial duties as assigned

What you'll need to be successful:

-Bachelor's degree with a major in a Health-related field, or Physical Science Education with ---Health certification

-Excellent English language skills

-Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills

-The successful candidate must be able to work extensively in a team environment

-The successful candidate must be organized, and detail- and deadline-oriented

-Experience working with digital curriculum development and digital products
