Overview

The Business Development Manager will capitalize on the many significant opportunities emerging for tactical wheeled vehicles, combat vehicles and C4I opportunities. Emphasis for this position will be on the generation of new business, secondarily protecting/growing follow-on business.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Tasks:
  • Responsible for generating new business opportunities related to US Army and USMC land system opportunities
  • Responsible to generate follow-on business opportunities
  • Responsible for helping US Department of Defense customers generate requirements that are applicable to Elbit technologies and products
  • Direct interface with DoD user and acquisition mid-level managers is critical
  • Interface with similar counterparts in US defense industries
  • Work directly with other ESA and Elbit counterparts to ensure a holistic view of Elbit's capabilities are considered in any pursuit
  • Support multiple trade shows and help in the theme development to ensure relevancy of products
  • Manage programs that align with incumbent skills, background, experience and needs of the organization
  • Other related duties as assigned by senior management and Director

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education (Highest Level Required/Preferred):

Bachelor - Required - (5-10 years functional experience may substitute)

Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):

XX Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department

Experience Required:

Functional (Using Skill Set) - 5-10 years experience

Management - 1-3 years experience

Industry - 5-10 years experience

Military and Industry is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):

  • DoD Business Development and Proposal experience of 5+ years
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship abilities.
  • Background experience in generation of military user requirements will be considered a plus
