Responsibilities:
This is a Behavioral Health role that will be for per diem coverage as needed based in CHC's Eastern Region (Enfield, Hartford, New Britain, Middletown, Clinton, Old Saybrook, New London and Groton areas). This clinician will support the patients that are enrolled at the CHC clinic at the schools we provide services at in these areas. 20-30% travel will be required to support these regions. We do offer mileage reimbursement.

Please note, this is a per diem / temp position, that could have the opportunity to convert to full time / permanant employment, should their be an opening and business need. This is paid at a competitive hourly rate of $36.00 per hour.

This role supports students and their families, as a CHC employee in a school based clinic, fulfilling the following responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychotherapy with individual, family and group psychotherapy
  • Be responsible for initial mental health evaluations
  • Coordinate with community agencies
  • Complete paperwork completed as required by statute, regulation and/or CHC Mental Health Policy and Procedures
  • Be a part of our new electronic health records technology for high quality clinical data-gathering and analysis
  • This position does require a Mastered Degree Licensed clinician, possessing either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, with at least 2 years applicable experience.
  • A current CT license is required
