The Kielian lab at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine has an exciting opportunity available for a laboratory research technician in our Molecular Virology Lab. Our research addresses the mechanisms of virus infection and virus assembly and transmission, using non-pathogenic viruses as model systems to study these processes at the molecular level (https://sites.google.com/site/kielianlab/ ). The lab has interesting research opportunities and a collaborative and friendly atmosphere.
Requirements: B.A. or B.S. in science. Applicants should have a strong scientific background including lab courses, and excellent quantitative and organizational skills. A strong research background and research experience are preferred, but specific experience in virology is not required.
