Boardwalk Pipeline Partners is looking for an Associate – Corporate Analytics for our Houston, TX office. Position level will be based on experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

*Acquisition Support

-Support acquisition activities including opportunity screening, target company financial review, market fundamentals analysis associated with target company industries, supporting economic valuation of the target company

-Active participation in due diligence of acquisition opportunities including reviewing and analyzing all information and coordination with internal function areas, outside consultants, and investment bankers

 *Organic Project Support

-Support economic valuation and strategic analysis of proposed organic projects for Boardwalk

-Work collaboratively with commercial and engineering groups to understand project opportunity, assumptions, and key issues to develop a thorough economic analysis

*Preparation and communication of analytical work and investment approval documents to the Corporate Development team, Senior Management, and Lowes

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

*Minimum of 4 years’ related experience

*Experience in financial valuation/analysis and market research

*Strong analytical, logical, and economic thinking skills

*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others

*Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

*Ability to work under tight deadlines

*Ability to work with multiple groups and individual to collect and validate information

*Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, or a business related discipline

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

*2+ years of experience in the natural gas industry and in evaluation of Master Limited Partnerships
