Overview


The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and implementing the visual design elements associated with brand positioning and strategic marketing.


Responsibilities


Essential Functions:
  • Supports the Director of Creative and Brand in developing creative strategies and concepts.
  • Assists in directing creative teams in the design and implementation of marketing strategies aligned with business targets and brand objectives through deliverables.
  • Provides art direction on small-and large-scale projects from creative conception to completion.
  • Recommends, researches and develops imagery (e.g., graphics, illustration) to support creative strategy and execution.
  • Collaborates with writing team to artfully build creative solutions to address specific project objectives.
  • Directs and is accountable for the final development and production of creative assets and ensures accuracy, attention to details and overall meets or exceeds the design objectives.
  • Ensures brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions.
  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications/Graphic Design or equivalent work experience required.

Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of seven years of graphic design /advertising design experience (required)
  • Minimum of five years of creative management or demonstrated leadership skills (required)
  • Hands on knowledge of the latest design software & technologies (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, HTML/HTML5, CSS) (required)
  • Understanding of 4 color print production processes (required)
  • Strong project management skills and strength in managing multiple projects/deadline (required)
  • Portfolio that displays strong visual aesthetics: design, color, typography, composition (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment (required)
  • Life sciences experience (preferred)
