The University of Kentucky, College of Health Sciences is seeking applications or nominations for a position in the Division of Physician Assistant Studies. The College of Health Sciences is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with vision, leadership skills, and the ability to work with a diverse faculty and staff.
This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor Position with expectations for instruction, clinical participation, and service.
Our well-established and respected PAS program offers an entry-level Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and enrolls 56 students annually on two campuses in Morehead and Lexington, KY.
The successful candidate will be responsible to support the PAS program by 1) providing instruction in coursework related to didactic, clinical and laboratory skill development on both the Lexington and Morehead campuses, 2) serve as a clinical role model to the students, using evidenced based practice methods, 3) engage in related service activities and 4) participate in program development/ improvement as appropriate.
